Mysteries of The Revolutionary War with Herb Kaufman In-Person

The history of the American Revolution is full of lore, myths, half-truths and inaccuracies that have become an accepted part of American history. These stories are repeated in schools, museums, and television programs because they are catchy, humorous or entertaining; but during this presentation we are going to separate fact from fiction. This program focuses on these mysterious, misrepresented and often imagined incidents and events of the Revolutionary War, and on the colonial myths and stories they never taught you in high school. Find out what really happened on the Fourth of July, what inspired "Yankee Doodle," where Paul Revere actually rode, the true story of the Liberty Bell, and so much more historical reality.

Presented by Herb Kaufman, M.Ed., Historian.
